Question carry on space

Hello and sorry if covered before , did a search , no luck.

Anyway my question is , is there ample space for carry on to be stowed on
upper deck new c class? one normal 22 inch size tumi and a good size duffel bag.

Thank you

There is definitely not enough space if everyone is carrying the same amount as you do. There was once a passenger sitting across from me putting one of his carry-ons over in my overhead bin. Fortunately my family travelled with only small carry-ons.

I thought 22" is OK, but the extra bag requires an exception which will depend on CX and the local airports.

Ooops - sorry, you're right. Not sure where I got the 20" figure from. I must stop posting before the caffeine kicks in in the morning!
(Or maybe I'm just getting senile)

The duffel may require a special exception depending on how big it is.

I don't own a Tumi, but my previous carry on, which was exactly 22x14x9 would not fit. Moreover, they no longer have any closet space upstairs, so they would take your bag and store it downstairs.
