Cathy on vayama.com

I wanted to fly on Cathay Pacific for my flight to HKG from JFK, but fares are easily in the 2K range when I search online (kayak, expedia, etc).

Vayama is showing the low 1K on Cathay Pacific. Is this legit? I've read some people had problems with the site, and others who are fine with it. It seems a little too good to be true.

Have anyone use it before?

I've never used it before, but if you get a PNR and a ticket number it should be legit.

Yup, I've never actually bought from the website before, but I have searched it out and it usually came back with the best of all the web deals I could find.

This reminds me of a similar experience when I tried to book a LHR-HKG one-way trip. All the websites, CX.com/Expedia/Travel Agency all quoted a H or above, while ebookers.com found a N fare that was 50% cheaper than the H fare. Too bad it wasn't miles/upgrade eligible, otherwise I would have taken it.
