changing fee for the award ticket

Does anybody know if there is the changing fee for the CX partner award ticket? I am going to use Asiamiles to redeem the award ticket for JAL.

I know from one of my friend that using Asiamiles for CX award ticket, there is no changing fee, you can change as many times as you want. Not sure if it is correct.

No change fee. Whether you'll get a seat on the flight on your choice is another question.

what about an upgrade award ? i booked an economy (H class) ticket, and confirmed a R/T upgrade to business using miles.

if i want to change the dates on these award flights, my understanding is that i need to pay any change fees associated with the H fare, and i will need to find dates where the U class upgrade awards are still available.

(a) presumably i wouldn't need to find dates where both H and U are available ?

(b) and i would go about this change simply by talking to CX MPC, and would not need to involve the travel agent who booked the economy tickets ?

Unfortunately, you do need to find dates with both H and U availabilities. Some CX MPC agents will handle both for you, some will ask you to call your TA to change the H booking first (or creat a new H booking). It depends on who you get.
