change air-ticket class

change air-ticket class
Hello,
I currently have a air ticket which is L class, today i asked asia miles to try to upgrade from economy to business using my asia miles point, they said is not allowed for L class ticket.
Is that possible to pay extra to change the air ticket class from L to Y??? the ticket I bought is thru the travel agent, not directly with cathay pacific

You dont need to upgrade all the way to a Y fare. a K class fare will allow you to upgrade. yes its possible to pay the extra, but I dont know whether CX will consider that as a change and charge you the "change fee".
For your future reference, classes Y B H and K can be upgraded with Asia Miles.
