Are CX flying to Sri Lanka in 2008? We are thinking of making use of either the BKK or SIN sector to CMB and cannot find anything?

Any update on whether CX ever plans on resuming service to CMB?

I'm planning a Dec 2008 trip to MLE and I'm really hoping to keep my routings relatively simple (via HKG and CMB).

Thanks,
FlyerBeek

when i was there in november i spoke with one of the cmb cx agents from whom i used to regularly purchase tickets and asked him specifically what what were cx's plans for cmb. he told me they currently do not have any plans to return. evidently stopping then starting and then having to suddenly stop service again spooked senior management

he may not know the real scoop but was convinced that cx would not be returning to cmb in the near future.

i hope he was wrong as i sorely miss their service.
