Trying to understand
I just made to GOLD and I have decided to make a quick mileage run to Bnagkok, 2 days, I bought a L fare and on CX website it shows only 11 seats open. Now, the last 4 LAX-HKG flights, I have upgraded 4 times, 3 op-ups and one with miles,very lucky considering I was Silver. My questionss are these:Seat Counter shows all classes 9, so gone are my hopes to score an upgrade, correct? I have a JFK-HKT booked for November,JFK-HKT, any chance both the 744 and the Airbus 346 will have new seats?

Zero chance, but you could take the CX841 on the brand new B777 after Nov 16.
