Extending MPC year to maintain status

Hi all

A quick question - when MPC give you an extra couple of months to get the miles to retain your status, do you retain your current tier for those months? Or do they drop you and then let you back up again when you get the miles?

For example, if my silver year ended on 1st Jan 2007, and I needed 3000 miles to retain SIlver, presuming they gave me a two month extension to get the miles - would they let me keep silver for January and February? Or would I be booted to Green and then given silver back if I got the remaining miles?

Hope this makes sense?

Thanks
AT

Drop down one tier for that 2 months. Then back to the tier that you had previously after that 2 months and if you achieve the remaining miles required.
