Cathay Pacific has an excellent website - it is far more efficient surely to go and read this information there than asking questions here?

Just flew ex-HKG this past Saturday on CX873 to SFO. In-town check-in remains a no-go. Check-in at the airport is business as usual (we used the same counter as we always have) with one catch- you now have to go through a secondary screening process for flights to the US and the UK. They are using the Southwest concourse (gates 40-50) for these flights. This secondary screening process took about 35 minutes. When you arrive at these gates, you are likely to see a number of different lines. Each line is for a different flight so make sure you stand in the correct one!
