A dummy question.

All.
A dummy question. I ask this question for a reason.
What fare class of HLWSPCL for a CX ticket?
Is it a H fare?
If yes, I suppose can earn AA miles, right?

I was trying to book a ticket from ORD to TPE.
on AA.com $1278.20 including tax
AA1891 10/12/2006 08:59 PM ORD to LAX SR14DNR
CX881 10/13/2006 01:55 AM LAX to HKG HLWSPCL
CX460 10/14/2006 08:35 AM HKG to TPE HLWSPCL
CX551 10/17/2006 01:10 PM TPE to HKG HLXSPCL
CX882 10/17/2006 04:15 PM HKG to LAX HLXSPCL
AA1891 10/17/2006 04:30 PM LAX to ORD SR14DNR

on http://www.cathay-usa.com/
(1) $1176.81 including tax
12 October AA1891 ORD 20:59 LAX 23:23 0 M80 Restricted Economy (S)
13 October CX881 LAX 01:55 HKG 07:35 0 744 Restricted Economy (K)
14 October CX460 HKG 08:35 TPE 10:15 0 744 Restricted Economy (K)
17 October CX511 TPE 13:10 HKG 15:00 0 773 Restricted Economy (K)
17 October CX882 HKG 16:15 LAX 14:30 0 744 Restricted Economy (K)
17 October AA1890 LAX 16:30 ORD 22:24 0 M80 Restricted Economy (S)
(2) $1529.21 including tax
12 October CX7565 ORD 20:59 LAX 23:23 0 M80 Restricted Economy (H)
13 October CX881 LAX 01:55 HKG 07:35 0 744 Restricted Economy (H)
14 October CX460 HKG 08:35 TPE 10:15 0 744 Restricted Economy (H)
17 October CX511 TPE 13:10 HKG 15:00 0 773 Restricted Economy (H)
17 October CX882 HKG 16:15 LAX 14:30 0 744 Restricted Economy (H)
17 October CX7582 LAX 16:30 ORD 22:24 0 M80 Restricted Economy (H)

I know on CX, H fare can credit into AA mileage program. I just want to make sure that I can get the ticket on AA.com and there is no problem.
Thanks

aa.com shows you the fare class on the confirmation screen before you purchase the ticket, but it is always the first letter of the fare code on aa.com (unlike CX which uses unrelated fare codes -- very annoying). So I'm confident that this is all H on the CX sectors, but you can check before you buy.

Yes you will earn AA miles on this fare.

CX's website promotes lower fares that earn asiamiles miles.

#2's fare is higher because CX chose CX/AA codeshare flights and priced them in H instead of lower S class on AA.
