CX Conundrum

What do they do if you tell them that you have lost your boarding pass in the Wing?

They'll issue you with a new one?

Will they do this without question, or interrogate you?

It depends upon how many times your "lost" boarding pass has already been used to enter the Wing/Pier (it is in the computer). In any case you will need to show a passport.

I don't know, that's why I asked.

You can't just steal someone else's boarding pass and access the lounges.

The will issue a new BP for you but on the new one they will say DUP and sometimes they will note it in the system and when u board the plane tit will beep and alert the agent you are using a DUP. The danger is that people can use your lost BP to board a flight (as they don't always check passports at the gate)

That's not very likely, is it?

What is the point of this bump? I think the original question is answered. I have had the lounge staff re-issue boarding passes when a passport is shown. They just want to take security precautions - while it is true that there not too many loop holes there could be errors and mistakes and so avoiding too many duplicate boarding passes is a good idea.

Why would you ask this question in anticipation? Is there a strategy you are working out?
