Connection Time at SFO
Hi all, I am planning for a return trip from HKG to SEA, but for business purposes, I will have to route through SFO. My iternary will be CX from HKG to SFO, and AS from SFO to SEA.
The shortest connection from the CX arrival to the next AS connecting flight is 90 minutes. Will 90 minutes enough for me to go through immigration/customs, and get to the AS terminal to check-in for the connecting flight ? Any insight or experience is greatly appreciated.
Thanks !
BW

It probably depends on your cabin and whether or not you have checked bags. Last week, I got through immigration/customs in 20 minutes (F/no bags). No line whatsoever at immigration. The time from deplaning to checkin at AA counter is about 30 minutes.
90 minutes is cutting close though if there is a flight delay. See post by Guy Betsy below for more useful info:

If you don't make the connection, there are 3 more flights later on (6, 7 and 8:47p).

Thanks BW Flyer for posting this question. However you have posted the same question here on the Cathay Pacific forum AND on the AS forum and having your question immediately answered by TiteG4 already, I will have to close this thread. You may continue your posts at the AS forum.
