Booking help please
Trying to swing a last minute trip:
Wife and I want to go LAX-HKG-SGN-HKG-LAX, but with our children who will only be flying LAX-HKG-LAX on the same flights as us. I don't know how to book this, and I can't find a Cathay phone number to book this on the phone.
Also, what we intend to do is leave the kids in HKG with friends, and spend three nights in SGN and four nights in HAN. It doesn't seem I can do the inter-Vietnam flight on CX, so I imagine I need to book a roundtrip flight SGN-HAN-SGN on Vietnam Airlines.
What I'd love to do is book a multi-city LAX-HKG-SGN-HAN-HKG-LAX flight for me and the wife, but I think it'll end up being more expensive since we won't be able to take advantage of CX's February deal of the month.
Any ideas on any of the above?
Tentative dates are:
Leave LAX-HKG on 2/23
Leave HKG-SGN on 2/26
Leave SGN-HAN on 3/1
Leave HAN-HKG on 3/5
Leave HKG-LAX on 3/8
Thanks very much.

Have you tried a travel agency? Asian TAs offer similar rates sometimes to the web specials offered on cx.com
CX res number can be found on cx.com - or you can just call 411. But best expertise will be TAs. Your entire itinerary should be able to be incorporated into one ticket including VN sectors.

I did call a travel agent but she said the tickets she had access to were substantially more than the CX Deal of the Month prices, not even including her $50 per ticket booking fee. I guess I can call another one.
