744 sold as 2 class flight
Hi all,
I recently found that CX will use 744 on DPS-HKG of my AONE3 trip. However, the flight is still sold as 2 class, no F or A inventory is available. I am just wondering how to secure a seat in F cabin. Does check-in early help
or the F cabin will be off limit to all passengers?

Depends. If your TA or booking airline for the RTW can reserve the seat, then fine. Otherwise, you'd have to call CX res to ask them to release the desired seat for you.
I know that CX will release certain favourite blocked seats for MPC members. I do NOT know if they will do the same for other Oneworld elite members.
Lately I have found the desired emergency exit row seats on the 747 upper deck to be blocked out for general seat selection. A quick call to MPC released the desired seat.
If CX won't release the seats to you, then the desired cabin may just be blocked out and not released for seating at all. Otherwise you may check at the airport when checking in.

As Guy Betsy recommends, call CX reservations and request a seat in rows 1 through 4. The meals and service will be J class, but in the FC cabin. The CX phone agents are among the most helpful and pleasant I have encountered. If you're not MPC elite, you many need to remind the agent of your "A" class ticketed itinerary to get your seat selection straightened away.
