Moving to T3 at JFK?
Not sure if I missed some announcement here, but according to the Oneworld timetable (the one downloadable at the OneWorld site), when CX moves to its Winter schedule it also moves from T7 to T3 at JFK.
Can anyone confirm that this is correct? And if so, does that mean that CX is building its own lounges in T3 or sharing someone else's?
(The OneWorld timetable shows BA remaining in T7.)

Maybe CX is moving to T4 or T1? (T3 could have just been a typo)

I doubt because British Airways is in T7.. there's no OneWorld partners in T3.. and transferring between terminals in JFK is quite travel difficult (walking only).. CX was in T3 before 2000, but that's when BA was also in T3..

There is no way that CX is moving to T3, or anywhere else for that matter.
As has been pointed-out, T3 is arguably the most poorly maintained terminal at JFK. As much as love anything associated with Pan Am, it has outlived its usefulness and Delta has not put any money into it. A few years ago, there was serious talk that Delta woud renovate or replace it, but 9/11 and its subsequent financial crisis put a stop to that. CX has noting to gain by moving to T3.
As a reminder, CX used to use T3 and moved out to join BA in T7.
T7, by contrast, is not only the newest of the original JFK terminals (by "original," I mean to exclude the new T1 and T4), it has also recently been renovated. (A little trivia -- T7 is the only terminal at JFK purpose-built for a non-U.S. carrier.) CX makes sense in T7. It houses its Oneworld partners BA, QF and IB and is right next to (and easily reachable by AirTrain) AA. T7 has a nice premium check-in area (even if CX does not use BA's First Class check-in area) and CX is able to use the BA lounges.
If, and I think it is not going to happen, CX were to move from T7, it is far more likely to move to AA's Terminal, as that is where the bulk of its connecting traffic originates (and it won't do so until the construction is finished). It would also likely move to T1 or T4 (both newly built) before it would move to T3.
If CX moves out of T7 in 2006, I promise to run naked through The Wing or Pier (depending on the gate from which my flight is to depart).
