CX vs SQ in Y

Hi

I`ve had a thread going on on both the SQ and TG forum to find out which of the two airlines has the best Y-class product as I`ve decided to move all my travel from KL & AF to an asian airline due to their appalling service.

After I had a chat with my travel agent I found out that a round trip with CX (TRD-AMS-HKG-PER) is slightly cheaper than a round trip with SQ (TRD-OSL-CPH-SIN-PER).

So my question to you guys is: Who has the best Y class product: SQ or CX? (with respect to seat pitch, IFE, food, service)

Regards,

This has been discussed a number of times before, e.g.,

Of all the asian carriers, TG and MH has the best seat pitch over SQ/CX. 34" vs 31"

Of inflight service, I find MH pretty consistent and eager. CX/SQ can be a bit iffy at times.

Of meals, all are equally good in Y class.

Of IFE, SQ wins hands down. 2nd is CX, 3rd is MH and last is TG.

Of FF miles, check - SQ is infamous for their no-miles fares, followed by CX, MH and TG.
