I have been MPO Gold for 7 years and Diamond for 3 years. Logging in nearly 800,000 miles for 10 years. Attained status in combination of either miles (for diamond now) and sectors (for the gold previously). My travel pattern has been quite low this year (really low) and would want to know if CX will comp me for a year in Diamond again (like others who fail to reach qualification in silver or gold) or will I go really down the ladder to where I am at the moment? Would like to hear other experiences. Thanks.

There is no set rules. Each individual will be reviewed on a case by case basis. You would need to contact MPO and basically state your case as you did so here.

They might just let you drop down one level for you to redeem yourself the coming year. But from what I've heard, that is the best they can do as they will evidently state that if they comp you , "it won't be fair to our other members".

Give them a call, and ask them what they could do. They might at least make you gold for the year, since you have a good track record.

If you plan on traveling more next year, that might be a good cause too, and you just say that you like the benefits of MPC has given you, and it helps make your travel less stress free (priority check-in, priority seat, etc.)

Er, what? I am really not sure that publishing the direct line numbers of individual CX employees here is a good idea...

Is there a moderator in the house?

Wow! A want to be peacekeeper trying to act like one when it is clear that he can't behave like one!
