The question is why does he keep coming back worse than his previous predecessor? So when do you think he'll appear again?

The best thing you can do is stay on topic so that our efforts to assist you are not interrupted. As noted from B Watson, there is a lead to an Australian ISP and i have a few ideas i'm working on. Thanks for your understanding. Feel free to report any additional "problem FT members" to me.

Cheers,

Note that CyberNet was the name of Mr. Watson's company. Perhaps this was either connected to that outfit, or more likely, someone who was alienated from it? This may (or may not) be something to turn over to the pertinent authorities.

It would not be the first time that real-world personal animosities have spilled over to FlyerTalk (and vice versa).

Likewise, an analysis of the posts by B Watson may indeed reveal insight into his state of mind that may have evidentiary value in civil or criminal cases arising out of this affair.

Finally, as someone who just learned of the demise of the late moderator, I might ask if it would be possible to unlock the thread in this forum that was moved to Community?

Beyond discussion of his alleged fraud, which is a national issue affecting many, many people (other than Flyer Talkers), I would suspect that the issue of depression arises more among heavy computer users than those with well-balanced lives.

The continuation of the now-locked thread could serve as a support to other Flyer Talkers who are having problems out there, and out of his suicide, some good preventative efforts in the Flyer Talk community may arise.

I'm confident to guess that the name CyberNet on FT has nothing to do with the company or the people at all..

No, it most certainly wasn't.

Leave the guy alone

I think there must be a new Admin sometime after X'mas probably before CNY so Randy can do something else.
2nd, really, leave the poor guy alone. This is post trying to locate the problem FT member.
A bit OT, man, the US freedom of news is scary. I wonder are my phone calls to the US are tapped all the time.

You can see that we tried that, but with the realization that we would have to edit/delete/,moderate that thread on a mnute-by-minute basis, came to the conclusion that we really did not have enough time to devote all our resources to that single thread.

However, the issue is more to do with posting habits. Dissecting this members' suicide or business practices is hardly a matter in the CX or BA or SQ forums I would say. FlyerTalk does not prohibit such discussion, merely it seeks to remind members of staying on topic as well as posting to the correct forum. If any members here would like to pursue these types of topics, there are threads in OMNI where these discussions are going on right now.

Here's one:
http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=376280

I think I've addressed the topic of this thread to let you know we are continuing our vigilance as started by B Watson to protect members of FlyerTalk from unruly members who seem to show no regard for the rights of other members.

Thanks for your understanding.
