Transferring Status
Just a quick question, does Cathay accept status transfers, I am a :-: Gold and would like to transfer my status to Asia miles. Any responses ?

You mean if Cathay Pacific will match COMP your Star Gold status?
Not really.. unless you can prove that you intend and have purchased several CX tickets in the months to come.
With that , you would need to go through a travel agent, and the local CX sales desk which may help. Otherwise you would have to EARN it like everyone else.. the HARD WAY!
It's so refreshing to see that ASIAN airlines' FF programme do not comp like the US airlines' do. It's really a bad habit!
