CX Rules

Just wanted to reiterate that, even when there is a screwup. I am right now comfortably located in the CX ICN lounge, enjoying the free high-speed wireless access. CX 411 to HKG is delayed for about 1:30, due to some mechanical from HK. This is the first time in about a year that I've been on a delayed CX flight (and I fly them pretty much weekly). So what does CX do for the passengers? It comps them lunch! Yes, they gave everybody a 12,000 Won voucher (about 10 USD) to use at the airport.

If US airlines comped lunch everytime a plane was delayed for 1:30, they would have gone bankrupt long time ago.

I know it is small potatoes, but it is the small gestures that distinguish CX from the rest.

Thumbs up

Another reason why we all love flying CX all the time. Little attention to detail makes CX one of my first choices when flying out of Hong Kong.
