Just to add that the same, or similar, restrictions are in place accross other InternetBrands sites, such as PPRUNE. It's not specific to FT.

I can confirm that VPN is needed. I’ve been blocked for god knows how long and will be going through the backlog of reports and other necessary moderation.

FT working normally again from HK as of 0900HKT/02Apr. No VPN needed.

Cloudfare did ask me to tick the "verify you are human box" before I got redirected to FT (defence mechanism against bots I presume). Super easy nonetheless.

I get that now, and I'm in Europe.

Ironic that a robot is asking me to prove I'm not one of them, but it's better than training Google by trying to work out whether a square with a handlebar in it counts as part of a bike or not.

I had FT blocked while in Sri Lanka in early March. Local (Dialog) sim.
Given the trip was five days there I did not explore options.
An unfortunate side effect of wandering?

Yep, also seeing this from Australia. Now we just need a customised version of that image captcha matrix where you click certain boxes...
