"Express" on boarding pass

Don't recall seeing this on any of my previous boarding passes but my memory has been failing me lately.

I'm sure there's a very obvious answer to this but couldn't find it myself. J fare, exHKG and seated in 2A. What is it?

I don't think so. Found this photo on google dated Jun 2024 with the same express logo.

Edit: April. Article is from June.

By 2A I assume you are flying to SYD? Haven't been back to the down and under since Covid, but it was for you to use some kinda express immigration/secuirty lane.

I don't recall it on arrival, as I didn't usually fly into SYD international

Some Australian airports have "express" immigration/security lanes. Business/First and Oneworld Emerald is eligible.

Sydney does not have it but instead has a business/first lane on departure for security/passport control (no access for status holders in Y).

Melbourne has it signed with express for departure with a seperate security lane and on arrival they have express lanes both for passport control and in the baggage claim area.

Brisbane has it for departure security and on arrival again both at passport control and baggage claim.

Thank you both. This actually makes a lot sense and lines up with the example photo above. Super handy information. Wish I had known the other two times I had flown into AU!
