The House MEL Dining

Hi,

Can anyone confirm that The House does A La Carte dining before CX178? And does anyone have a picture of the menu?

Thanks!

Saw another post from someone saying how much that lounge had deteriorated over the last year which is a shame with the views it has.
Can the QF J lounge still be accessed instead?

It could be worse I suppose, the wife flew VN out of MEL yesterday and was expecting the plaza premium lounge and found they've changed to the marhaba lounge, very disappointed was what she said when I asked about food offerings.

The House is the contracted lounge for CX178 only because the QF lounges are closed by then. Other departures have access to the QF lounges.

It appears that the Qantas lounge is now open each night until 23.15 , half an hour prior to CX178 scheduled departure.

Looks like the house was removed from MEL lounge page completely.

It is great that the QF F lounge is staying open longer. Note sure what will happen when CX178 retimes to around 1am

(When CX started using The House after COVID, there was a "premium package" that was available which was just some better drinks (e.g. champagne). That premium package has now disappeared (for all?). Also The House was supposed to have in MEL/SYD an ala carte menu, which never came back post COVID. These two maybe some of the confusion)

The premium package is still around at The House and still includes a la carte at both SYD and MEL...

I flew thru MEL last month and the QF F lounge personnel told me they had struck a deal with CX from this month onwards, that's why CX no longer uses the House lounge.

May or may not have to do with QF is now using CX lounge in YVR for QF76 (YVR-SYD), ditching SkyTeam Lounge.
It's an improvement for both sides, but MEL QF J dungeon lounge has nothing to write home about.
