Stopover rules on CX?
Trying to understand the stopover rules.

The intended routing is JFK-HKG, HKG-CEB, CEB-TPE (booked separately), TPE-JFK. Not sure if a stopover in HKG is allowed with an open jaw booking.

CX does not operate TPE-JFK, nor OneWorld partners.

Apologies, I meant TPE-HKG-JFK.
The question was - does CX allow a stopover on an open jaw award? The website is not cooperating and the agent wasn't able to tell me.

'Award' - no you're not allowed stopovers on a (CX) redemption ticket. You can one 'stopover' on an open jaw/round trip, which is your turnaround point (i.e. in this case, it would be CEB).

If it's a cash ticket, then given your ticket starts in JFK, it is possible to have a stopover in HKG on the outbound (and inbound if you so wish) with your intended itinerary (JFK-HKG-CEB/TPE-HKG-JFK) but I believe certain (if not all) fares out of JFK have a surcharge for stopovers in HKG.
