Cool Waitlist for Business using points CATHAY
I'm about to fly out in a month- but on waitlist for Business using points. Does anyone know when they will get confirmation? The week before or day before? The customer service via whatsapp on Cathay is horrendous.

Did this a few months ago, was confirmed ~72 Hrs prior to flight departure.

It depends on your status too. You need to call up the hotline if you are diamond. I've had my waitlist cleared 48 hours before I was due to fly. But calling usually helps rush things along. WhatsApp seems to be manned by a bot. I've not had any good outcome from WhatsApp.
