HKG-KIX since April 2024 - only 3 return flights per day?
Planning a trip to Japan in coming Easter holiday, and I notice that there are only 3 return flights (edit: direct flight operate by CX) from KIX to HKG since April 2024, all are 333 without PEY.
Just wondering is it a normal schedule pre-COVID, and is there any chance that the timetable is still tentative with more flights & even equipment swap?

I looked in the schedule for both late April and May and see six per day (one with a no-aircraft-change stop, five nonstop), up from the current number?

But one more strange thing is, while there are only 4 flights KIX-HKG (1 of them 1 stop), there are 5 flights HKG-KIX (1 of them 1 stop) during the same period, so where is that extra machine goes...?
This tentative schedule is very weird...

Think they're restricting inventory in one direction...596 is the one that's missing and the aircraft on 596 usually flies 561/595 back to hkg

Sorry to push up the old post but now CX595 re-appear in the timetable from April onward, replacing CX561, albeit all flights are still 333 so may have equipment change later

Honestly CX schedule is still a mess beyond April 2024.
There are plenty of zeroed out flights across the whole network.
I booked a mutl-city KUL-HKG-LHR-HKG-KUL and am still expecting the worst.
Hopefully CX can settle on a confirmed schedule soon, but with the ongoing issues with pilots and crew shortage, I have a feeling that CX is having plenty of troubles.

April is not that far away! What's the reason behind the pilot and crew shortage and what's the expected timeframe to resolve this? I think I read that CX expects to reach pre-pandemic capacity by the end of 2024, but your comment is leading me to think that won’t be possible.
