BA equipment change

BA equipment change
BA award ticket booked through Asia miles for June 2024. Got notification BA change the equipment from A350 new club suites to 788 (old club world suites). Not really thrilled about 788 change. Would Asia miles refund / cancel me my award miles without the award $120 cancellation charge? TIA

I get the premise for the question, if you book QSuites on QR and they swap they (QR) let you change flight without fees. Part of their service.
But CX sold you a J seat on BA, they don't care what hard product what BA provides unfortunately.

Honestly, the old Club World seats aren't that bad... if you're used to the CX long-haul seats, you'd find the Club Suites door novelty runs out quickly... then regret having you position your legs in the (unmovable) cubby hole and constantly bumping your knee in your sleep. I still prefer the old CW seats anytime, and regret to see it progressively phased out.

The CW windows seats are indeed great. The new club suite are less private, (IMO) and less space.
Yes there is a small door, but it feels cramped as carrotjuice mentioned. And the CW window seat is very private once the screen with the aisle seat is raised.
