Today's CX334/CX335 is operated by a 77K, instead of the scheduled 77J. Seems that CX335 on SEP 15-18, 2025 are all operated by non-77J aircraft, despite being scheduled as 77J. Is there a 77J breakdown somewhere?

Thoughts after a few flights (from the perspective of someone who is neither tall nor wide):
-Seat Quality: generally okay. No worse than Cirrus but not in the same league as Q Suite from the perspective of comfort, particularly for sleeping. Foam quality I suspect plays a role here. Haven't encountered uneveness issues reported by others in lie flat position and found it similar to Cirrus - acceptable but far from class leading. - Suite Design/Dimension Issues: I had no issues with ingress/egress at all and didn't find it too narrow. Footwell: yes smaller but no issue for my small-medium feet. As others have reported, shoulder width in lie flat position is significantly constrained relative to Cirrus due to armrests and I think this is the biggest issue with the suite design followed by the too close proximity of seat to screen. I''m fortunate not to be broad across the shoulders but can see this really bothering others. - Armrests: an inferior overall design to Cirrus. In addition to the widely reported adjustment issues for the aisle armrest, it also doesn't seem to be flush with the rest of the seat in lie flat essentially making for reduced bed width and exacerbating above-mentioned shoulder width issue. - Screen: yes, too too close! But omg the camera picture quality is fantastic making for some almost cockpit quality views. - Seat Controls: Really good I thought. I like the location and the controls are responsive. Also like the low light/minimalist UI. -Storage and amenities: Really like location and design of new cupboard and also charging ports. Not sure yet about the light. - Door: at first I found the gap a little weird being used to QSuite but really appreciate that you don't get a rude awakening when the neighbor behind you slams their door shut (a major issue with QS). -New Galley and Lavs: a huge improvement. Overall a solid effort I think however some significant compromises real estate-wise as other have noted. I would like to see a greater focus on seat and sleeping comfort in future iterations. |
