September Schedule changes (SIN-LHR)
Hi all,
I was booked on the following flights, all on the same itineary, in late September:
SIN-HKG | CX 716 | 18:00-22:10
HKG-AMS | CX 271 | 00:15-06:40
AMS-LHR | BA 429 | 10:00-10:20
However, I was informed today that due to the diversion to avoid Russian airspace, the HKG-AMS flight will now depart at 22:45, meaning i've been rebooked onto CX 690 from SIN, which departs at 12:55pm. Is anybody able to confirm what my options may be with regards to rerouting or rebooking? I don't mind doing two stops, hence my original itineary. The booking details are updated on Cathay website, and it is asking me to click a button to confirm the schedule change, but I haven't touched this yet.
Any thoughts most welcome!
Cheers,
Alex

Unfortunately, you do not have many options if all flights to Europe now depart before midnight.
It could have been an opportunity to switch to a HKG-LHR nonstop.
But wait for a few days, CX is currently updating its S23 schedule and flight times keep changing.

Thanks, I think i'm inclined to see what Cathay have to say regarding my options. I've just seen that a combination of QR and BA, including the direct flight back to LHR on the return, are only 50 more than what I paid for the original CX flights. It defintely wasn't that price when I came round to book.
