I saw that CX announced HKG-KHH flights for two saturdays in November but can't find any flights for Dec. I was wondering if anyone could point me at any announcements for HKG-KHH in Dec or hereafter? Thanks!

Sorry my source is in Chinese but the news I read was that the original plan is only the 2 Saturday in Nov for KHH route showing CX is not leaving the market and future plans are all depending on market demand, meaning there is no solid schedule yet.

These photos were published on CX Facebook, flight from KHH to HKG dated on November 21th. As we can see, the uniform of crew were in CX , and flight number was CX 431. This route was completely transferred into CX. No more KA though the crew were still the previous KA ones.

CX scheduled 2 cargo-only passenger flights to Kathmandu, Nepal. Another destination previously served by KA will be resumed by CX.

For flight rights of 46 routes KA returned, CX is to apply for 25 routes, including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Tokyo, Kolkata, etc. UO is apply for the other 21 routes, including Guilin, Ningbo, Taichung, Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Siem Reap (Cambodia), Medan (Indonesia), Okinawa (Japan), etc.

HX also applies for several routes, and most of the destinations are outside China.

CX scheduled a few cargo-only passenger flights to Xiamen, China. This is the first destination in Mainland China resumed by CX.

It is also very interesting that the ground workers at Xiamen airport dressed full PPE to handle cargo from outside China.

Afaik CX has been operating cargo flights to Xiamen for a while now anyway? Don't think this indicates anything regarding future passenger operations.

This flight uses ex-KA slots. It flight also hints that the Mainland Authority allows CX to inherit flight rights from KA.

It’s a massive piece of good news that CX can inherit KA routes to the mainland. Can’t imagine how hard would CX be hit (again) when travel resumes without the mainland market.

With hindsight, CX should have touch bases with the authorities before giving up KA, especially when Air China is one of the shareholders of CX group.

I'm sure CX did lol.
