Dec CX flight availability for SIN -> SFO
Hi all,
I have an existing CX reservation on Y from SIN to SFO on Dec 1. I am looking to change it to depart Dec 6. It seems that there are no seat availability the entire month of Dec if I search for SIN -> SFO. However, if I break the search into SIN -> HKG and HKG -> SFO, I am able to find flights and seats. I called CX reservation which got routed to their offshore centralized reservation center and they are not able to help me as "this is what is in the system". I requested to speak with a supervisor or someone who can make decisions and was told I will get a call in 2 days. This is crazy custom service. I don't believe the flights are full as explained. When I flew at the beginning of this month, the passenger load averages around 10-15% all the way from SFO to SIN.
Any thoughts on why SIN -> SFO is not bookable?
Thanks!

The HK / Singapore travel bubble requires flights which have no transit passengers. CX is probably still trying to work out if / how to juggle flights to handle the bubble as well as transit passengers.
