Which CX space can partners (AA) see?

Hi folks,
My original June 23 AA flight from HKG-LAX was cancelled, and AA subsequently put me on a CX flight that was then also cancelled. I'm trying to rebook on another CX flight, but having a hard time finding business class availability on the few CX flights that remain. Question: do any of you know which CX business class space AA can see? I'm trying to fly on June 16, and see J8/C8/D9 on that date, but AA says there's no business space available. What am I missing? Does AA pull from a different fare bucket? Thx.

You need U class, which is not available on 16JUN.
Code:
116JUNHKGLAX‡.CX«
 16JUN TUE HKG/Z‡8 LAX/PDT-15
 1CX 882 J9 C9 D9 P0 I0 U0 HKGLAX 1645 1520 351 BD 0 2 DCA /E
          W7 R6 E0 T0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M0 L0 V0 S0 N0 Q0 O0
NO MORE CX.

Thanks for this. Well, that sucks. None of the flights in June seem to have any U space. If my original flight is cancelled, is AA obligated to put me on a CX flight (oneworld partner) in the same class of service if there are seats available? Or are they at the mercy of CX releasing the right fare bucket? Thx again.

This is a question for the AA forum.

No. AA is not obligated to put you on CX. It is in its sole discretion.

Hi, which app / site do you usually use to see award space on CX with oneworld partners? Business is (U), no?

I didn't wanna open a new thread, cuz I didn't think it really warranted it, but I will piggyback a bit here.

I'm trying to use AS miles for a CX flight. I'm aware that AS can't see CX space, so I use the BA tool. I was looking for SYD-HKG-YVR at the end of Feb 2021, couldn't find anything on a handful of days. Nothing in Business which is what I was looking for, but not even anything in Economy. The BA search came up with plenty of results on QF.

Is there anything going on with CX award space right now?

Not sure what you meant by POS, what are you using to search? I just went through multiple dates in that range in Economy and Business on the BA search tool and could only come up with QF/BA routings.

It's an issue with BA.com
