While I haven't tried with AM, in my prior transfers when bonuses involved always posted immediately. You could try, but make sure you'll be ok with leaving it in AM since it's irreversible.

The Extra Miles will be credited to Registered Member’s Asia Miles account within 8 to 10 weeks after the end date of the Promotion Period.

Just transferred 60K miles from AMEX right before this offer!!! I'm guessing the Capital One is probably not eligible, I keep reading AMEX and CITI everywhere. That's a shame, I have a ton of Cap One points that I'd like to dump. The 10% would have been a great incentive to transfer. Oh well.

Man, my timing is off. I just met my minimum spend on my Cathay Pacific Visa for the 40k bonus. However, my statement closes on Jan 30. I don't think they were be enough turnover time for my bonus to post on my account on 1/31. Le sigh

The T&C exclude sign-up bonus anyway. See https://www.asiamiles.com/campaign/w...ode=am01ai2001, Article 5:

If Asia Miles is your main currency, then it makes sense to take advantage of the 10% bonus. For me, I'm almost exclusively Asia Miles. I will be transferring a good sized portion of my AMEX points but I want some flexibility if I wish to use other AMEX transfer partners. Once the points convert to AM, there's no way to pull them back.
