Forgot to change FFP

Halfway over the Pacific I realized that I forgot to ensure my AA number was in my CX ticket on CX metal. The BP has my AsiaMiles info on it. Any experience asking CX to reverse the credit to their program and then credit to AA? Any idea which customer service email to contact?

I don't think they will reverse this for you. They once did it for me but that was due to their error. I had my BA number on the boarding pass but somehow this was credited to MPC. I first called BA who told me to call MPC to see if they would reverse the credit. MPC asked for images of the boarding passes and said that they would reverse this as an exception to normal policy given the evidence provided. They made it quite clear that this was exceptional but that was also MPC. If you just credited it to Asia Miles, and not MPC, then you could try to contact Asia Miles but I wouldn't have high hopes.

Quite hard... but definitely possible but need to have a good reason for CX to go through the trouble to reverse it.

Hmm... Maybe I don't understand well enough the difference between MPC and AM. Under my name it says CXAM.

This is what happens when you don't travel for a month and a half....you forget the basics...

MPC is the FFP of CX/KA. Asiamiles are the miles they use as their units. You can earn AM with other partners even if you are not MPC.

You are facing a very difficult task. Getting your flights undredited by CX is one thing. Getting them credited on anther airline with a BP showing CXAM is a difficult issue.
