I visited the Pier, wing, deck and the Qantas lounge last week
The teas were lovely in the teahouse at the Pier
The other CX J lounges were a bit Meh and for J lounges small
Thankfully my flight was at gate 4 so spent most of my time in the Qantas lounge where the food offering was much better and of course they had draft Tsing tao

This was at 11pm
The wing had some sandwiches and a Berry tart available at that time as well as some un appealing (to me) Chinese fare

Does the lounge have a different breakfast selection? My flight is at 9 AM.

I'm honestly just looking for a dim sum fix and hope it's not sub-par quality!

I've read some advice saying that the food is better in the Plaza Premium Lounges vs the CX J lounges in Hong Kong...

Is this true?

I have access to the Premium Plaza Lounges through Priority Pass

Can't recall the last time I've had breakfast, but, vaguely, I recall a menu offering dim sum (shrimp & pork - passable, not great), pancakes and assorted egg dishes, e.g., eggs Benedict.

I could be wrong but you might just get siu mai in the J lounges with some buns thrown in at the noodle bar

My bad. I was most likely thinking of the Wing F lounge, where after passing security, you turn left and enter via the open entrance.

I'm currently at the Pier J lounge, Chinese hot dishes looks a bit downhill, pizza, bread and soup are still ok.

Cannot agree more. Always looking forward to flying out with a Gold/Sapphire person so that I can get into the Qantas lounge. The salads were actually gourmet, and the seating extremely comfortable with almost no crowds (by CX lounge standard) even with evening rush of QF flights.
