CX or KA coded?

Hello Everybody,

I want to book TLV-HKG-TPE return flights. In the itinerary that is most convenient for me (in terms of schedule), the HKG-TPE-HKG flights are operated by KA.
Should I book these flights under KA code or under CX code?
Pricing is the same...

Thanks

It doesn't matter - both will give you miles and club points.

I suggest booking under the operator's code, i. e., KA, just to make things simpler.

That is true.
Usually they are pretty much the same.
However when using mileages to upgrade, it doesnt work on code-share flight.
