Calculating taxes on partner airline redemptions before transferring Asia Miles
I'm looking at a CDG-LCY-JFK redemption and I'm trying to price it up on Asia Miles. It shows that the mileage component is 50k but it doesn't show any cash amount.
Does Asia Miles apply the same cash charge as you would see in the "taxes" for a cash ticket or is there some other way I can confirm the cost (without having to call up, ideally)? I'm expecting the taxes to be ~$200 since I shouldn't be liable for APD on a connecting itinerary.
