The A350 has to be it. Then the A380 if you're looking at passenger comfort on an airline that flies it. Most on here would avoid the densified B777s. The pressure onboard them is better too. The 787s haven't had great reviews from those carrierst that have them in Y.
I did like the A330 for the 2-3-2 config.

According to the CX on line timetable the only A330 service to Australia after end October 2020 will be CX 161/2 to/from SYD. ADL, BNE and PER will be all A350s and MEL a mix of A350 and 77W. This also fits with the reports that 8 of the existing 10 A33Ks will be converted to A33Js. Longer term additional A350s could be added to replace older A330s which could then be moved to the Dragon to replace the then most ancient, like the 27 year olds (B-HLJ & K), they they are still using.

What's the logic behind the registration number/identifier scheme? Is that set by Cathay or the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department? And on that note, does anyone know where Cathay registers and domiciles their aircraft? Are they owned by companies in Hong Kong? Registered in Hong Kong? Or some mysterious Caribbean island with questionable banking regulations? hehehehe....
