Fare drop
Anyone has experienced a fare drop in the same cabin class? Booked an E class SIN HKG return last week only to see the same availability for 90SGD lesser. My, that’s a lot and there wasn’t any published offer for PE.
Do fares res actually drop?

Yes, fares vary all the time. Quite normal. Not sure about CX in particular, but on the whole (Across most airlines) ticket pricing on Tue to Thu tends to be cheaper than if the same itinerary gets booked on Fri through Mon, especially quite far out from departure. Apparently, Tuesday is statistically speaking the best day to book a flight ticket.

Sure fares can go up and down quite frequently.
Fares are based on expected load. A flight where loads were expected high might experience fewer bookings and fares can be adjusted dynamically to make it more attractive, especially by opening lower fare buckets.
