Middle Name when booking
Hello
I'm currently in the middle of my first booking with CX. I've seen quite a lot of posts about making sure you include your middle name when booking. However, when I'm booking, when I enter my first and middle names as (for example) James David Smith, it appears on the next page as James david Smith. I can't seem to correct it. Does anyone know if there is a workaround or do I need to phone up CX? I assume the worst thing I can do is not include my middle name?

I wouldn't worry about including your middle name. All you need to remember to do is when you enter your passport details on the API pages later, not to enter your middle name there either. I travelled in Feb/Mar this year UK-HK-Australia and back with no issues.
I believe the middle name is necessary for those with Chinese names using Chinese characters from what I've read on here before.

That's exactly it. I worry if the d not being in capitals would cause an issue.

I learnt from the SQ CS that you should enter your name as how it shows at the bottom of the passport. Most of the time the middle name doesn't show.
On your passport, on the page with your picture, see the bottom section where there are >>>NAME>>NAME1>NAME2
Follow this when you put in your name on the booking and you should be fine.
