Unusual Monthly Statement Cycle
The Nov.-Dec. 2018 monthly statement cycle ended on the 7th instead of the usual 6th. This is quite unusual. For the past few years, I only remember once when the monthly statement did not close on the 6th but rather on the 15th - when MPO switched to the point system. Given there is no holiday this week, I wonder why the delay.

To add, my MPC club point balance has recently been fluctuating despite no flight credited. Also OW flights have been credited very slowly, perhaps due to year-end holiday season. Let me know if anybody has been experiencing the same issues.

+1. Some 10-20 club points coming and going from my membership year balance without any corresponding line items to explain them. And some AA flights from 4 weeks ago still not showing while 2 from last week are showing.

Annoying as I'm trying to do early renewal before a series of flights soon...guess I'll have to start removing MPC # at gate again and hope it works at outports...would welcome any better suggestion

I'm guessing that this is related - issued a partner award on 23Nov and cancelled it a few days later, choosing to pay the 12k miles for fee instead of $s.
I see the debit of the miles for the award, as well as for the redeposit fee, and the taxes/surcharges credit is there on my card already - but, not the refund of the miles for the award. A few emails exchanged with the club (including a new 'verification' over email - the same Qs that they ask on the phone), and after an initial 'Refund of the miles was reflected in your account on XXX', I get:
"We would like to confirm that XXX Asia miles have been credited to
your membership account on 28 November 2018. However, due to a technical
issue, such transaction details has not shown on your transaction
history.
Our technical support team is aware of the problem and it will be fixed
soon. The transaction will be reflected in your monthly statement of
January 2019. We sincerely apologies for any confusion this may have
caused."

I had this happen to me as well with an AA flight I had flown that was credited, and then disappeared subsequently (happened about 1.5 weeks ago). Called into MPC hotline and they acknowledged it was a technical glitch they are working through (I also checked FT at that time but did not find anything, so figured it was something that only impacted partner flights or some other small-ish subset. Given the timing of OP's post though, it looks like I probably missed it since the subject of the thread seems to differ slightly with the issues people have been posting about subsequent).
In any event, they advised that I email them the e-ticket and boarding pass so that they could re-credit it manually rather than waiting for the IT team to resolve the technical issues (and then re-credit everyone), as they did not have an estimate of how long this would take. I only had my e-ticket, but they were still able to help me credit it back (I guess because it had already previously been credited?) within a couple of days after I emailed them.
