changing ffp with baggage

changing ffp with baggage
Hi all,
Will be travelling on CX soon from LHR to HKG in J.
In the past, I dont check luggages and I always put my BAEC number on OLCI and change it to CX after getting my boarding pass on CX flights.
However, this time, I will be travelling with three empty check in luggage. Will the online system allow me to switch the ffp number still after check in without charging me? (Since CX silver in J does not allow me to carry 3 luggage, while BA gold does)
