Lounge Access on CX Codeshare
I was wondering if anyone knew if CX silver members are still entitled to lounge access if flying on a connecting flight with a CX flight number but operated by a different airline (Japan Airlines)

Available only to members departing on flights marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific or Cathay Dragon.

My wife and I were denied access to the lounge in HKG earlier this year when flying the CX/FJ codeshare (operated by FJ) to NAN. You can access the NZ lounge in AKL on the AKL-HKG codeshare operated by NZ.As far as I know AKL is the only exception to the operations rule.

My experience has always been a solid No (I've been GO for 3+ yrs). Tried pitiful pleading at Air China, and Alaska Air operated lounges (on CX code-share flights w/these fellas), to no avail. Hopefully you fare better luck!
