Cold Pressed Fruit juice
Was very pleased that HKG-JFK J offered a cold pressed pineapple, pear and lime juice - fantastic and definitely much higher quality than the juice cartons they normally use.
However, no such option was available on EWR-HKG. How come JFK J gets higher quality juice options?

i am not sure how fresh a cold pressed juice is after 12hr anyhow. i trust cold pressed for immediate consumption, otherwose its all marketing ploy, as i believe nutrient left on 12h old cold "fresh cold pressed juice" is as good as standard marchandise on market shelf.

The cold pressed juices were 'leftovers'/soft changes that follow from the DoD trial last year. Apparently feedback is good and it'll be around here and there. I had it on a flight to Jo'burg I think and it was really good!
Same case applies for other things you see here and there now, like Sauternes.
Also, I can imagine some potential cost savings (pax more likely to take juice AND smoothie in the past, whereas probably not juice and juice in this case?)
