Another NYC Winter Storm
I happened to be scheduled on March 21st from HKG-JFK on CX846. Just so happens there was another snow storm hitting NY on that day with around 12 inches of snow in the forecast.
Checked status on Wednesday morning and saw all the other JFK flights had been canceled, CX846 delayed in 19:55. I was expecting further delays or even worse, a diversion to Toronto. I actually would have preferred a further delay to head off any chance of a diversion. However, the flight departed a little after 10AM and managed to make it safely to JFK. The only hitch was a T4 arrival instead of T8.
The plane was jam packed but J class was still very comfortable. I really appreciated being back on the 77H after using the 359 from EWR for the last few months. For me the 773 (G or H) just feels a little more comfortable and spacious.
Kudos to Cathay for getting me back safely and comfortably.
