Lounge Question
Can I go to The Wing/Pier when I arrive in HKG from TPE by CX(Y) and connect to LHR by BA(J) since I'm a CX silver?
And how about BA's lounge in HKG?
Is it good?
Please tells me some information about it.
Thanks a lot!!

No - as a OneWorld Ruby you don't get any lounge access rights. As a CX Silver you get CX Business Lounge access at TPE, but not, according to a strict interpretation of the rules, at HKG. It might be worth asking the CX desk at TPE if they could also give you a lounge access card for The Wing when you check in there (and, presumably, get both boarding cards).
The BA lounge at HKG is actually quite good, but it can get crowded before the BA flights leave in the evening.

In Star Alliance, passenger travelling on F/J on one airlines may enter any other member airlines' lounge.
I thought OneWorld also have the similar policy.
But on one occassion, I travelled on QF Business Class (HKG-SIN) and was allowed into The Wing. I was only MPO Silver at the time.

I used to thought that OW lounge access was strictly based on only elite levels (at least officially). But when I was at the Wing (traveling in F on CX), I noticed a sign that show if you're an OW elite travelling in premium, then you get access to either J or F lounges based on which classes you're travelling, irregardless of the elite level.
That is, if you're OW Ruby and travelling in J, you get access to all OW J lounges (at least in HKG). If you're in F (and Ruby or Sapphire), then you also have access to F lounges too.
When I went to visit BA in HKG, I thought I'd be admitted only to J lounge as a OW Sapphire, but imagine my surprise when they escorted me to the F side after checking my boarding pass and my card.
Please note that I'm not sure whether this is only HKG or alliance-wide policy. You may want to give it a shot and see what happens.

Just HKG, I think, because I've seen people turned away at other oneWorld airline lounges when they didn't hold elite status but was on a premium ticket.
For example, there was a time when my only status was AA Gold and was on a CX J award. Politely turned away from the BA lounge.

The exception are the other way around. Actually at most OW lounges, if you have a paid biz class ticket they let you into biz class lounges. Just ask the airline issuing boarding passes to give you a lounge pass. Some rare agents will not accept boarding passes but even they will accept lounge passes.
