balik salmon

did you know that the balik salmon served in CX's first class is produced in Switerland?

http://www.balik.com

quite surprising as Switzerland does not even have access to the sea

The salmon is Norwegian (farm raised, but still remarkably good). Normally I prefer the taste of Scottish wild salmon, but the Balik preparation is superb and makes for a very nice smoked salmon -- really superior. I often buy it from Caviar House instead of their caviar (which is also good, but expensive). The other hot tip is that Caviar House carries some excellent teas, particularly their Silver Tip. Rather a surprise.
