MH codeshare flights

Going to KL in April, I found CX/MH codeshares which fit my schedule better. Do the MH operated flights earn full MPC points and/or Asiamiles? Anything else I need to know about the MH flights? Thanks in advance.

Yes, provided that you book them under the CX code. You can't use the MH codeshare on OneWorld Explorer and similar fares.

MH is surprisingly good. They have been known to have been compared with SQ - though about maybe 20 years ago. Meaning the service quality is high, with sincere and warm courteous flight attendants.

Though it does not have fully flat individual beds in First yet. The service overall sometimes surpasses some of the better known asian carriers.

Service wise, I have found MH to be excellent - definitely on par with if not slightly better than many top carriers out there. Product wise, I think MH's best claim to fame has to be their Y class product - hard to beat a 34 inch seat pitch that has a decent PTV system. It's their first and business class product that lets them down somewhat.

Seats aside, MH F service is truly world class - I will avoid talking about ground service at KUL however!

Please don't avoid talking on this board about anything - it contravenes it's purpose. What is o bad about KUL ground service (that I could avoid by taking CX rather than MH??)

Are there still smoking seats on MH aircraft though ? I vaguely remember that at one point they were one of the very few airlines who were not entirely smoke-free.

All domestic and international are designated as non-smoking effective Oct. 2000.
Before that, there are smoking seats on some Middle East flights.
