Do CX status match?

Does anybody happen to know if CX will match your status with another airline. I am an Air Canada Super Elite (which is for those who travel 100k+ miles per year) and was wondering what status, if any, CX would give me. If they do match up, does anyone know how to go about doing this?

You can try, but you may have better luck getting a match with AA and become a Sapphire in the One World Alliance.

I think there are few discussion in the past, try do a search for "comp" or "comping status" or something like that. It seems CX will highly unlikely match you to Gold or Diamond, unless you have many F/J trips tickets for CX issued for the coming year. With some connection, you might get Silver. But AA OW sapphire would be your best bet.

Are you Canadian and/or have use of a Canadian address? If so, change your address to a Canadian one and then once you get a statement, fax it and a copy of your SE card to AA using "Attention: Canada Elite offer" requesting a status match. Not sure if it is still current but worth a shot.
