I don't think so - the luggage benefits tend to be airline specific rather than alliance wide. Note that "no. of pieces" is only applicable on itineraries involving N America. On all others luggage allowances are based solely on weight. In that case MPC Diamond gets an extra 20kg on CX flights above the normal COS allowance (which is 20, 30, 40kg for Y,J,F)

For your info, extra luggage from Vancouver to HK is charged at per suitcase (or box) basis, and it cost CDN$160 each (I think around this value...) regardless of its weight (max 32kg apply). So, you either get 2 super large suitcase to fit everything in, or you will have to pay that amount.
