WoW Anyone checked the CX website....

Lately ?
It shows that they have now 5 74Y( with
new C seats ) and 7 A34C .
I am sure in reality , they might even
have more than that , re-furbished . Web
site infos are always a tad late
Can't wait to have them on the HKG LA flts
No need really to go FC ! IMHO

Sadly DCW : I really don't think so...
5 of 19 744s..I would really think that
CX would put them on the HKG LHR ( 2 daily
flts ) and perhaps the HKG-SFO to compete
with UA and SQ .
They have the only non-stop into LA : thus
no competition .
BUT , BUT : I booked my flts for late Nov
LA - HKG , on one the 2 daily flts , seats
in rows 86ACHK upstairs are blocked off...
meaning that there is an chance they
might operate the flt with the 747Y ( no
row 86 with the new C seats ) .

row 86 is (probably unofficially) reserved for MPO diamond members

Sorry to disappoint you but on 20NOV, those are MY seats. I've got four of my friends booked up there. I'll be in first with two others! Will you be on that flight?

You know that if we call AA , and the AA
agent will tell you that row 86 seats
are undesirable ??? Unless yo have been up
there..you know that they are the best C
seats ( except for the floor shaking with
some heavy footed FAs , even though at the
window seats , you can't feel it ! )
Olafman : I did switch to the second flt
so I got 86AC..
And 86ACHK are not reserved for OW Emerald
or AA EXP ...it's up for grab , first come
first pre-reserve !

Well, I'm an AA / CX / oneworld no-status flyer and snagged one of those seats on another flight.
